Laima Lauriņa is a 23 year old ceramicist originally from Latvia. Studying in Arts Academy of Latvia in the bachelor program of ceramic arts. For the last years living and studying ceramics/design between Riga, Latvia and Mallorca, Spain.
We designed a set for a traditional latvian dessert - Debesmanna.
Debesmanna is a classic summer dessert every latvian knows and loves. Main ingredients- berries, semolina, sugar and served with cold milk.
It’s supposed to look like a pink cloud floating in the cold milk, that’s also why from Latvian to English debesmanna translates to "sky semolina".
